Pastor Dean Tindle

Hi, my name is Dean and I am the Senior Pastor at Bethany Gate Fellowship and here is just a short account of where I come from.

I was born in Devonport Auckland New Zealand 1953 and lived the early years in Panmure a suburb of Auckland. Attended Saint Patrick's primary school where I had good instruction on who God is.

Leaving the Catholic faith and getting involved with worldly things I soon grew away from God and got involved with every bad thing you could think of. I had a rough and hard up-bringing and grew up with a crooked set of values that eventually took me down a road of destruction.

Finally God got my attention through a truck accident where I was nearly crippled. It was during this time that I cried out to Him for help and He met my need. Today I am still physically walking and have had many amazing times with God. I have personally received His miracle healing power in my body.

I have been married now to my wife Lee for 21 years and we have lovely children to grow with.

I was born again (John 3:3-5) in 1982 when I had an incredible experience meeting Jesus Christ by asking Him to be Lord of my life, being baptised in water and in the Holy Spirit.

It was in 1985 during a conference on healing that I gained a desire to want to travel to India as missionary, but it wasn't until 1995 that I finally went there. During my ministry there I saw many lives saved from hell, many people miraculously healed of many illnesses and many lives changed by the power of Christ.

I have been to India and Singapore three times and to China, Hong Kong once all on missionary work.

I have been involved in street evangelism, open air campaigns and ministered at various private and public meetings.

I love to minister to the lost, lonely, hurt and sick, I love to share the word of God, I have seen God move mightily through my ministry and He has given me the ability to work in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit especially in discernment and the prophetic.

I have been involved with Glory Wind Ministries senior leaders Graham and Margaret Cook since 1989 and my wife and I have a wonderful relationship that we all cherish.

My vision is to see Bethany Gate Fellowship which is a ministry of Glory Wind Ministries grow to help minister to the lost and hurting in our town and country and also in underdeveloped countries.
